Life works in a mysterious ways

Wheter you believe in God, Odin, Gaia or Flying spaghetti monster you can't deny that life sometimes (or rather all the time) takes some pretty weird turns. Yeah, that's a scientific term.

I don't think everyone has it like that, but I can say for sure that our family does. My mom always says that just when she says or even thinks something is good it will turn horribly horribly wrong in the next 2 seconds to 3 days, depends on how busy the trickster above is. Ok it's not really that accurate, but it's a done deal none the less.

As some of you may know, I lost my job this February and I was thinking about the road I want to take next. I have a lot of dream jobs including a movie maker, photographer, artist, full time Youtuber, writer, chocolate taster and so on. One of my dream jobs is a translator. So when I learnt that I'll get the boot again I started to write to the agencies and test my luck. I've sent my CV to like 10 of them (mind you we don't really have a lot of them so 10 is a big number) and only one gave me a chance of doing a trial translation. 5 months and 3 urging emails later I gave up and since the other jobs I applied for didn't want me either I took a job in a supermarket. Hours are long and pay is bad, I will work on weekends and get home at night, but at least I can stand on my feet all day and deal with cranky people!! Yaaaaay!!

As soon as I took the job though and started to gather all the necessary papers, get the medicals out of the way so I can get the permit to work with food and other 20 million things I needed done to be able to work there I got a phonecall from the previous job I applied for, I heard of three places that are hiring and Yes, I've got an email from the translation agency! Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ!!! 5 months I was ripping my hair out with frustration and now I'm wanted everywhere. What am I supposed to do now!

Well tomorrow is my final medical exam and then I can start, so I guess there's not much to do. I feel like I have to at least try. Maybe I will be able to translate while I'm working in the supermarket. Who knows.

So if you are in a bad situation, dinna fash. The tricksters will get to work and you will find yourself in a place you have no clue how you get there. Let's just hope it is a better one.
